ROTEX System 70 Industry

The DUO heating pipe

The main piece of the System 70 Industry is the DUO pipe
(25/18 x 2 mm). It consists of a water bearing inner pipe which is covered by a ribbed pipe. The inner tube is an oxygen-tight PEX-pipe with the dimensions 18 x 2 mm.

The ribbed pipe consists of Polyethylene (PE). The DUO tube is used for the System 70 as well as for the underfloor heating and for the connection of free heat areas as radiators, air heater or similar. The special feature of the DUO pipe lies in the structure. The air gap covering the water bearing pipe serves as defined heat insulation which makes it possible to supply
System 70 floor heating with a markedly higher supply temperature than conventional systems.

The calculated forward flow temperature is of max. 70 °C when using System 70, but when using conventional underfloor heatings it lies the upper limit on approx. 50 °C. The DUO pipe is supplied in 200 m rolls.
