The ROTEX VA® Installation pipe

A laser welded aluminium casing with a high finish, silver-grey protection layer surrounds a thick-walled PEX-C basic pipe. The aluminium is connected to the basic pipe by a high-efficiency primer. The surface of the ROTEX VA®-STAB pipe is covered with a high finish silver shining layer. This layer is con-nected to the aluminium by a primer. Thanks to the high-quality appearance the ROTEX VA®-STAB compound pipe can also be used for surface mounting.

The necessary stability and resistance is already provided by the approved PEX-C basic pipe and is additionally supported by the aluminium layer. This also provides for a 100 % metalline oxygen-tightness and a very low thermal expansion.

The water bearing inner pipe consists of a PEX-C standard basic pipe. It is very resistant against pressure, temperature, corrosion and durable according to DIN 16892. The butt welded aluminium cover serves as oxygen-tight layer, reduces the thermal extension and makes it stable in shape. However, it can be easily bent by hand. Due to the material compound of metal and PEX and the defined pipe construction of the ROTEX VA®-STAB, remarkable advantages in quality are received. This is reflected by the practical processing as well as the high safety back-up for the manufacturer and the consumer.
